New Leaving Certificate Grading Scale
and Revised Common Points Scale
The Department of Education and Skills has announced changes to the Leaving Certificate grading scale and the introduction of a revised Common Points Scale for entry into higher education. The revised arrangements builds on the package of reforms announced in April 2016, and will apply to students who sit the Leaving Certificate from 2017.
